Volunteer Marketing Coordinator Internship

Are you creative, organized, and passionate about using marketing to create real change? Step’s Foundation, Inc. is offering a volunteer Marketing Coordinator Internship for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, digital storytelling, and social media strategy, while supporting a mission that makes a difference in the lives of youth and families.

This remote-friendly position allows you to collaborate with our team virtually. Content such as photos, videos, and updates will be provided by staff and interns in the field, giving you everything you need to help shape and share our story across platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Create and schedule social media content that promotes awareness of our programs and mission
• Assist in writing and designing engaging newsletters
• Use Canva to design digital graphics for social media, newsletters, and campaigns
• Collaborate on storytelling efforts, using real stories and visuals provided by the team
• Track and report on social media and email campaign analytics to evaluate effectiveness
• Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across all digital channels
• Support the execution of the organization’s marketing plan
• Show up at some events to capture photos or videos to create content

What We’re Looking For

• Are currently studying marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
• Are skilled in writing, content creation, and basic digital design
• Are familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Have experience using Canva (required)
• Are comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote team
