Position Summary
Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Communications, the B2B Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing content‑driven B2B marketing strategies that engage health care organizations, including hospitals, health systems, and government or ministry partners. This role focuses on top‑ and mid‑funnel demand generation, building and nurturing Marketing Qualified Leads across IHI markets and supporting a strong pipeline for sales and business development. The marketing manager position contributes to organizational growth by increasing brand awareness, strengthening IHI’s value proposition with business audiences, and supporting long‑term revenue and partnership development in global healthcare improvement.
Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Global B2B Marketing Strategy
- Design and implement multi‑channel B2B marketing campaigns targeting health care organizations across global markets
- Use established personas to identify priority segments and tailor messaging and outreach strategies
- Balance brand awareness initiatives with demand generation tactics aligned to organizational goals
Content and Demand Generation
- Develop and manage content and mid‑funnel assets such as white papers, case studies, webinars, and educational materials that demonstrate IHI’s impact and expertise
- Build content‑driven marketing funnels that nurture prospects and support long sales cycles
- Promote IHI programs and solutions through coordinated digital and content marketing efforts
Funnel and Campaign Management
- Manage the prospect funnel from awareness through consideration and intent, with a focus on progression to the SQL hand-off
- Execute campaigns across email marketing, social media, SEO and SEM, online events, and paid media
- Monitor campaign and funnel performance and adjust tactics to improve lead volume, quality, and engagement
Product and Solution Alignment
- Identify relevant IHI products and services that address customer needs and organizational challenges
- Support integrated marketing approaches that reflect a One IHI perspective rather than one‑off product promotion
- Ability to articulate value proposition for our B2B personas across our product lines and develop compelling messaging
- Partner with Market Insights and Product Management functions to bring compelling, market-driven solution messaging to fruition
Marketing Technology and Analytics
- Use marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot Marketing Hub to manage campaigns, lead scoring, and reporting
- Track and analyze key performance indicators including MQL volume, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness
- Apply insights from data and market trends to refine marketing strategies and execution
Sales Alignment and Collaboration
- Partner with business development and inside sales teams to support clear MQL definitions and effective lead handoff
- Develop marketing materials that support sales conversations
- Incorporate feedback from sales and business development colleaguesto improve targeting, messaging, and lead quality
Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of B2B marketing principles, including demand generation, funnel management, and content‑driven marketing strategies
- Ability to plan and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns using digital, content, and paid media tactics
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools to track performance and inform decisions
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Ability to develop clear, compelling written content and messaging for professional and organizational audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines consistently
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions, including sales, product, and subject matter experts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and results to internal stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a complex, mission‑driven organization

Position Qualifications
*Required*
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Five to seven years of relevant experience in B2B marketing
- Experience supporting demand generation, content marketing, and digital campaigns
- Experience working with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar tools
*Preferred*
* Experience with + marketing professional services, educational offerings, or mission‑driven organizations + healthcare systems or global health contexts + global remote first environment
Physical Attributes
- Ability to Sit for Extended Periods: Capability to work at a desk for long durations
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a computer, including typing, mouse handling, and other office equipment
- Visual Acuity: Ability to read and view a computer screen for extended periods
- Hearing and Speaking: Clear communication over phone and video calls
- Environment Setup: Access to a quiet, professional home office setup conducive to focused work and virtual meetings
- Lifting: Occasionally requires lifting up to 25 lbs as needed
