Marketing and Communications Manager

Position Title: MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER Organization: Butler County United Way Status: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Hamilton, Ohio (Butler County) Reports to: President & CEO

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications initiatives that elevate the visibility, reputation, and impact of Butler County United Way. This position leads the organization's brand management, public relations, digital marketing, storytelling, donor communications, and special event promotion while ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Working collaboratively with all departments, the Marketing Manager translates organizational priorities into compelling communications that strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, corporate partners, community organizations, and the public. This position also serves as the primary administrator for communication-related functions within the organization's CRM (Andar), providing donor insights, segmentation, reporting, and communication support that enhance fundraising and engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications Strategy (50%)

• Develop and implement comprehensive annual marketing and communications plans aligned with Butler County United Way's strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with the President & CEO to establish short- and long-term marketing strategies that advance organizational goals and increase community awareness.
• Develop messaging that effectively communicates the organization's mission, strategic initiatives, community impact, and funding priorities.
• Partner with Resource Development to create integrated donor communication strategies that strengthen donor acquisition, stewardship, and retention.
