Job Description

Build Your Career in Digital Marketing

Franchise Performance Group (FPG) is a rapidly growing franchise development and digital lead generation agency that partners with franchise brands across the United States. Our team helps franchise companies grow through paid digital advertising, lead generation strategy, CRM optimization, and outsourced franchise sales.

We're looking for an organized, analytical, and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Digital Lead Generation team.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career marketing professional looking to build a long-term career in paid digital advertising. You'll work directly alongside our VP of Digital Lead Generation, receiving hands-on mentorship while learning how to manage sophisticated advertising campaigns for franchise brands nationwide.

Position Overview

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the operational health of our clients' digital advertising accounts.

You'll support the execution and day-to-day management of paid advertising campaigns across Meta and Google Ads by monitoring campaign performance, tracking advertising budgets, building campaigns from established templates, responding to ad engagement, and helping ensure every account follows FPG's proven systems and best practices.

This is primarily an internal-facing role. Strategy, client communication, reporting, and overall account leadership remain the responsibility of the VP of Digital Lead Generation, allowing you to focus on developing exceptional operational and technical skills.

For the right individual, this position provides a clear career path toward becoming a Digital Marketing Account Manager within approximately 12–24 months.

What You'll Do

Campaign Operations & Account Health

  • Monitor active Meta and Google advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts.
  • Identify campaign delivery issues, tracking errors, disapproved ads, budget concerns, and performance abnormalities.
  • Monitor overall campaign health and communicate opportunities or concerns to leadership.
  • Implement approved campaign adjustments and optimizations.
  • Help ensure every client account follows FPG's internal playbooks and operating standards.

Campaign Build & Platform Management

  • Build digital advertising campaigns using established templates and proven processes.
  • Upload creative assets and configure campaign settings.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews before campaigns launch.
  • Maintain campaign organization, naming conventions, and account structure.
  • Verify tracking, conversion events, and account configurations.

Budget Management

  • Monitor daily and monthly advertising spend across client accounts.
  • Track campaign pacing against approved budgets.
  • Monitor platform notifications, billing alerts, and account health.

Community Engagement

  • Monitor comments on Meta advertising campaigns.
  • Respond to routine inquiries using approved messaging and response guidelines.
  • Escalate customer service issues, franchise development inquiries, or sensitive interactions when appropriate.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Compile campaign performance metrics.
  • Update internal reporting dashboards.
  • Maintain client documentation and account records.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

This position is a great fit for someone who

  • Enjoys solving problems and working with data.
  • Pays close attention to details that others might overlook.
  • Likes building organized systems and processes.
  • Wants to become an expert in paid digital advertising.
  • Takes ownership of their work and follows through on commitments.
  • Is coachable, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Wants a long-term career, not just another job.

This role may not be the best fit if you

  • Prefer content creation, graphic design, or social media management.
  • Want to spend most of your time developing a marketing strategy.
  • Dislike working with spreadsheets, numbers, or analytics.
  • Prefer highly unstructured work environments.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and willingness to learn.

Preferred

  • Internship or 1–2 years of professional marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and/or Google Ads.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Prior experience managing paid advertising campaigns is helpful, but not required. We are committed to developing the right candidate through hands-on training and mentorship.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, salaried position
  • Fully remote
  • Annual salary of $42,000–$48,000, based on experience and qualifications
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Company holidays
  • Ongoing mentorship from senior leadership
