Social Media Coordinator Intern

About the Role

Khalife Group is seeking a motivated Social Media Coordinator Intern to support the marketing efforts for one of our automotive clients with locations in Taylor and Ypsilanti, Michigan.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to gain real-world experience in social media marketing, content creation, and digital advertising while working alongside an experienced marketing agency. The role is primarily remote, with on-site visits required to capture photos, videos, and other content at both client locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts
• Create and schedule engaging social media content
• Travel to both client locations to capture photos and videos
• Film and edit short-form videos (Reels and TikToks)
• Assist with social media campaigns and promotions
• Respond to comments and messages when needed
• Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms
• Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with the Khalife Group marketing team on strategy and content planning

Qualifications

• Must be located in Michigan
• Basic video editing skills using apps such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Express
• Organized, dependable, and creative
• Strong interest in social media, marketing, or communications
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to both the Taylor and Ypsilanti locations for content creation
• Photography or videography experience is a plus but not required
