Key responsibilities

  • Execute on‑page SEO updates on WordPress sites (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, images)
  • Perform technical SEO audits using SEMrush and other tools; implement fixes in WordPress where appropriate. Senior developer assistance would be provided for advanced technical issues.
  • Monitor and optimize site performance, crawlability, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
  • Develop and implement local SEO strategies for service‑area businesses
  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (posts, categories, NAP, photos, UTM links)
  • Build and maintain local citations and directory listings for priority locations
  • Plan and execute off‑site SEO tactics, including link building and guest posting
  • Prepare SEO‑optimized content (blogs, service pages, landing pages) aligned with keyword strategy
  • Configure and maintain Google Analytics and Google Search Console; set up goals and basic reporting
  • Analyze campaign performance and present clear insights and next steps
  • Collaborate with account managers and designers to align SEO with broader marketing goals
