PT Marketing and Communications Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated PT Marketing and Communications Associate to join our team!

The Marketing & Communications Assistant is a part-time freelance position for the West Philadelphia Alliance for Children (WePAC). This role reports directly to the Executive Director to help plan and implement marketing, communication, and development projects in alignment with WePAC’s strategic goals and daily operations.

The Assistant will support WePAC by developing and creating marketing and communication content for monthly newsletters, donor communications, press releases, social media, and other related projects.

The position is available for remote work if required by the candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation:
• Developing and producing high-quality content for various channels, including social media, websites, email marketing, and some direct mail
• Ensuring content is aligned with WePAC’s strategic and fundraising goals
• Writing and some digital asset creation via Canva

Donor and Executive Communications

• Supporting the Executive Director with direct donor communications and strategies, including email, direct mail, and event follow-ups
• Supporting the Executive Director with the development and creation of the annual report
• Creating event promotions for the annual fundraiser, Books & Brews, as well as community engagement opportunities
• Social Media Management:
• Creating and scheduling social media posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
• Website Management:
• Maintaining and updating the WePAC website as needed (Squarespace)
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Working closely with the Executive Director, Program Manager, and Communications Committee to plan and execute marketing and communication needs
