MelodySusie – Marketing | Community & Consumer Engagement Specialist (Bay Area CA)

About the Role

MelodySusie is looking for a passionate and outgoing Community & Consumer Engagement Specialist to help us build stronger relationships with nail professionals, DIY nail enthusiasts, creators, and beauty communities across the United States. This role focuses on consumer research, community engagement, local events, and gathering authentic customer insights that help shape our products and brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of consumer interviews, customer visits, field research, and community events across the U.S.
• Develop a deep understanding of MelodySusie’s brand positioning and target audience by regularly engaging with nail technicians, DIY nail users, beauty creators, and local nail and beauty communities to identify customer needs, usage scenarios, and product feedback.
• Assist in planning and executing local consumer engagement initiatives, including product testing events, salon partnerships, community gatherings, creator collaborations, and customer co-creation programs.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, on-site event support, customer communications, logistics, feedback collection, and post-event reporting to build a strong community network and knowledge base.
• Collect customer stories, testimonials, photos, videos, interviews, and other user-generated content to support product development, marketing, and brand storytelling.
• Stay informed about U.S. trends in the nail, beauty, lifestyle, and social media industries, and regularly share consumer insights and partnership opportunities with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Consumer Insights, Business, Event Management, Beauty, Fashion, or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. culture, consumer behavior, and the social media landscape, with the ability to connect with American beauty consumers.
