ThetaPal is a fast-growing fintech platform built for options and active traders. We connect to brokerages like Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity, and Interactive
Brokers to give traders a single place to track positions, analyze P&L, and act on AI-driven market scanning. Our AI Market Scout surfaces opportunities in
real time, and our agentic trading tools push the boundary of what retail investors can do. We are a small, product-obsessed team moving quickly in a market full of generic dashboards, and we are building something traders actually love to use.
The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Director to own and scale how ThetaPal reaches traders. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set strategy and
execute it. You will build the marketing engine from acquisition through retention, grow our brand in the trading community, and turn product strengths into
a story that converts.
What You'll Do
- Own the full marketing strategy across paid, organic, content, email, and social
- Build and manage performance marketing campaigns and report on CAC, LTV, and ROAS
- Grow ThetaPal's presence in trading communities (Reddit, Discord, YouTube, X, and finance media)
- Develop content that educates traders and drives signups, from SEO articles to short-form video
- Lead lifecycle and email marketing to improve activation, conversion, and retention
- Partner with product and engineering to launch features and translate them into clear value
- Manage influencer, affiliate, and partnership programs
- Hire and lead a marketing team as we scale, and manage agencies and contractors
- Set goals, track metrics, and make data-driven decisions on where to invest
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in marketing with at least 2 in a leadership role, ideally at a fintech, SaaS, or consumer startup
- Proven track record growing a product through performance marketing and organic channels
- Strong understanding of trading, investing, or financial products (you do not have to be a trader, but you need to speak the language)
- Hands-on experience with paid acquisition, SEO, content, and lifecycle marketing
- Comfort with analytics tools and a habit of making decisions from data
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Scrappy, fast-moving, and comfortable owning outcomes in a startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing to retail investors or active traders
- Background in community-led or content-led growth
- Familiarity with compliance considerations in financial marketing
