About The Role
Ridley Academy is the world's largest online piano education platform — 40,000+ students, 40+ countries, and the winner of Best Online Piano Class in the World 2025 from Insider Weekly. We are building a high-ticket Book-a-Call sales funnel, and we need one person to own it completely, end to end.
This is not a paid media job. This is not a “manage the ad account” job. This is full ownership of a funnel — the video, the script, the page, the follow-up, the show-up rate, the close rate, the ROAS — from a person who has done this before, at scale, more than once.
We are not a logical-purchase, get-rich-quick offer. Ridley Academy sells an emotional, aspirational product — the chance to finally learn the instrument someone has wanted to play their whole life. The funnel has to be built and run by someone who understands that distinction in their bones, not someone whose only experience is “buy this so you can make more money” offers.
What You Will Own
- The VSL itself — script, reshoots, direction — either writing it yourself or sourcing and managing whoever does.
- The full funnel architecture — ad to landing page to video to thank-you page to follow-up sequence — so everything flows as one coherent story.
- Conversion optimization, on an ongoing basis — this is never “done,” it is constantly tested and improved.
- Lead quality and qualification — the video itself should pre-qualify so sales is only talking to financially qualified, high-intent people.
- Show-up rate — building the follow-up and retargeting sequence that gets booked calls to actually show up informed and warm.
- Scaling the funnel across every relevant channel — Meta, YouTube, Google Search, TikTok, LinkedIn, Bing — once the core funnel is proven.
- Any contractors or specialists needed to execute — editors, designers, copywriters — you find them, brief them, and run them.
The Bar We're Hiring To
Our first target is $1,000,000 in profit per month from this funnel, with room to grow well beyond that. We're looking for someone who has built a Book-a-Call or VSL funnel from zero to seven figures in monthly profit — and done it more than once — ideally in an emotional or aspirational purchase category, not a “buy this to make more money” niche.
You should be able to show us a 30–40% close rate on calls and a 5–6x ROAS as a realistic, achievable target you've hit before — not a number you're hoping to hit for the first time on our account.
What We're Looking For
- Personal experience building and scaling a high-ticket VSL or Book-a-Call funnel to 7-figure monthly profit — with specifics you can share: niche, spend, ROAS, close rate, show-up rate.
- Experience in, or a deep understanding of, emotional and aspirational purchase categories — not strictly logical or “make more money” offers.
- A genuine aesthetic eye — your past funnels should look and feel inspiring, not purely transactional.
- Full, personal ownership of outcomes — this role is built like a founder's role within the function, not a campaign you check in on.
- Fluency with AI tools to move faster and produce more — scripts, creative, ad iteration, research.
- Current, hands-on, present-day results in the funnel/marketing world — not a case study from years ago.
This Role Is Best Suited For Someone Who...
- Wants to operate as the direct, hands-on owner of this funnel day to day, rather than overseeing it from a distance or through an agency model.
- Has a clear, individually-attributable track record — we'd love to hear about your own specific contribution to a funnel's success, not just a team or company result.
- Has built funnels primarily in emotional, lifestyle, or passion-driven categories, in addition to or instead of logical/financial offers like real estate investing or trading.
- Is looking for a high-ownership, high-upside role rather than a fixed, hands-off 9-to-5 arrangement.
- Can point to a specific, verifiable funnel they built and speak to the numbers it produced.
Pay
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, set according to experience and increasing with tenure, plus an uncapped performance bonus tied directly to the funnel's monthly profit. Specific figures will be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
