About the role
We are looking for an experienced B2B Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our education-sector marketing campaigns, outreach and lead management during a three-month contract.
You will combine strong educational marketing experience with practical HubSpot expertise to identify relevant prospects, deliver targeted campaigns and develop a well-managed pipeline of opportunities. This is a hands-on role: you will write, build, test and send campaigns, manage responses and keep follow-up moving.

About us
Sabrewing Education is an innovative education technology company transforming how students learn through personalised learning and adaptive educational technology.
Our mission is to make high-quality, personalised education more accessible and effective. We combine AI-powered learning platforms, intelligent assessment tools and personalised academic support to help students achieve their full potential.
We work with schools, colleges and educational organisations in the UK and internationally, supporting them in integrating AI-driven learning solutions into their educational provision.
As a growing company, we are expanding our partnerships with educational institutions and seeking to establish Sabrewing as a leading provider of AI-powered education solutions.
Key responsibilitiesCampaign planning and delivery
- Agree priority audiences, objectives and a practical three-month campaign plan with the Business Development Manager.
- Take ownership of targeted email campaigns from audience selection and copywriting through to building, testing, scheduling, sending and reviewing performance.
- Tailor messaging to education-sector decision-makers, with clear calls to action and accurate information about our provision.
- Manage the campaign calendar, meet agreed deadlines and prioritise activity within the three-day working week.
B2B outreach and lead nurturing
- Research relevant organisations and contacts, including education providers, advisers and referral partners where appropriate to the agreed target audience.
- Deliver personalised outreach through email and agreed professional channels, including LinkedIn where appropriate.
- Manage campaign replies and enquiries, answer initial questions and maintain timely, relevant follow-up.
- Nurture prospects who need more information or time, and re-engage suitable existing contacts using relevant, permitted communications.
HubSpot and pipeline management
- Use HubSpot as the central record for contacts, companies, campaign activity, lead sources, lifecycle stages and next actions.
- Build and maintain segmented lists, accurate records, follow-up tasks and clear lead ownership; resolve duplicates and incomplete data.
- Use the tools available in our HubSpot subscription to support lead capture, appropriate automation and useful campaign and pipeline reporting.
- Keep each active lead at an accurate stage with a clear next action, owner and follow-up date.
- Manage contact sourcing, marketing permissions, suppression lists and unsubscribe requests in line with UK GDPR, PECR and organisational policies.
Lead qualification and handover
- Agree what makes a qualified lead with the Business Development Manager, considering organisational fit, expressed interest, needs and readiness for a conversation.
- Pass qualified leads promptly to the Business Development Manager and coordinate introductory calls or meetings where appropriate.
- Provide a clear HubSpot handover covering the contact and organisation, identified need, relevant exchanges, timing and decision-making information where known, and the recommended next step.
- Track whether leads are accepted, need further nurturing or are unsuitable. Use feedback from the Business Development Manager to improve targeting and qualification.
- Agree response times and cover arrangements for non-working days so enquiries have a clear owner throughout the week.
Reporting and improvement
- Provide a concise weekly update on campaigns, meaningful responses, qualified leads, meetings generated, follow-up completion and pipeline progression.
- Test messaging, targeting and calls to action, and recommend changes based on performance and lead quality.
- Document campaign processes and leave an organised pipeline, reusable assets and a clear handover at the end of the contract.
What we are looking forEssential experience and skills
- Demonstrable B2B marketing experience in education, including reaching institutional decision-makers or education referral partners.
- Strong practical HubSpot expertise, with evidence of personally delivering campaigns and managing CRM data, segmentation, follow-up and reporting.
- Experience owning email campaigns and outreach from initial brief through to delivery, analysis and improvement.
- A track record of generating, nurturing, qualifying and handing leads to a sales or business development colleague.
- Excellent written English and the ability to produce clear, persuasive, audience-appropriate copy.
- Confidence interpreting campaign and pipeline data and using it to decide what to improve.
- Sound understanding of responsible B2B outreach, data protection and marketing permissions.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to deliver independently while communicating reliably across a part-time schedule.
Desirable experience
- Relevant HubSpot certifications.
- Experience marketing educational programmes, student recruitment services or institutional partnerships.
- Experience using LinkedIn for professional outreach or improving campaign landing pages and enquiry forms.
- Experience reviewing an existing CRM and improving its data quality and day-to-day use.
What success will look like
We will agree realistic targets at the start, taking account of the existing database, available resources and campaign baseline. Success will include useful leads accepted by the Business Development Manager, meetings generated, consistent follow-up and accurate pipeline records.
- January: Review existing activity and HubSpot, agree audiences and qualification criteria, establish the handover process and launch priority campaigns.
- February: Maintain campaign delivery and outreach, nurture engaged prospects and improve results through testing and feedback.
- March: Continue generating and progressing opportunities, document learning and complete a clear campaign and pipeline handover.
