Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Marketing and Training Manager to join our team! This is a primarily remote position that will have some in-person requirements, so we are looking to hire someone in the immediate Los Angeles area. You will be responsible for implementing our marketing campaigns (including email marketing and social media presence), and performing administrative tasks (including working with our database and Microsoft Word and Excel documents). The Training Manager also supports website updates and e-commerce functionality related to training registrations and payments.
Responsibilities
- managing programs and a monthly webinar series;
- logistics including working with faculty on course descriptions and materials;
- planning single and multi-day training & conferences including all the same faculty logistics as well as coordinating location rentals, AV equipment, outside videographers, room lay-out and an on-site display table;
- logistical management for in-person training & conferences including formulating and executing contracts with vendors;
- coordinating and liaising with partnering organizations and maintaining those relationships;
- overseeing our digital advertising and marketing campaigns including our social media presence;
- tracking and fulfilling online product orders (both physical and downloadable/virtual) on MS Excel spreadsheets;
- tracking enrollments into our training courses;
- arranging travel (air, hotel, car rental, etc.);
- working with Google calendar;
- editing and sending e-mail marketing campaigns for upcoming events;
- creating effective social media posts, and engaging with our followers;
- editing occasional print advertisements;
- updating and maintaining company websites;
- inputting and updating contacts in our database program
What we need
- Project Management Skills
- Prior office experience
- Prior management experience is a plus
- Personal skills: reliability, responsibility, and commitment to a job well done!
- Extremely organized with a high degree of attention to detail and follow direction
- Self-starter with a desire to continually learn new skills and grow
- Computer savvy; capable of using office software across all platforms
- Self-reliant
- Familiarity with social media strategies, best practices, and ethics
- Ability to create eye-catching graphics is a plus
- Understanding of basic web design tools (html, wordpress) is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
