HYBRID PERFORMANCE COMMUNITY & NUTRITION

Social Media Manager

*Part-Time ·* *NYC-Based (Highly Preffered)* *· 10–20 hrs/week · $20 an hour*

THE ROLE

This is a part-time, flexible engagement. We're looking for someone to help grow with the brand and own the marketing function as a core part of the Strata team.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Social Media

Day-to-day management of Instagram and TikTok

Content calendar creation and execution

Short-form video editing and posting — Reels, TikToks, Stories

Engagement — responding to comments, DMs, building community

Growing both platforms from zero with a clear identity and consistent voice

Marketing & Brand Growth

Assist with building Strata's marketing calendar across Instagram, TikTok and email

Help develop content ideas around hybrid training, founder journey, product education, performance nutrition, and community building

Support short-form content planning, captions, hooks, outreach scripts, and campaign concepts

Track what content performs well and help improve future posts based on engagement and audience feedback

Influencer & Community Outreach

Identifying and reaching out to micro-influencers in the hybrid athlete, running, and fitness space

Managing seeding relationships — who gets product, what we ask for, how we follow up

Building and maintaining relationships with NYC run clubs, boutique gyms, and fitness communities

Representing Strata at events, activations, and community touchpoints when needed

Partnerships & Ambassador Support

Research potential micro-influencers, hybrid athletes, coaches, and local fitness leaders

Help draft outreach messages and follow-up sequences

Organize contacts, conversations, and partnership opportunities in a simple CRM or tracking sheet

Support the development of an ambassador program for early brand advocates

Email & SMS Marketing

Building and managing the Strata email list from the waitlist stage

Writing and sending weekly value-driven emails — education, performance content, product updates

Setting up launch sequences, replenishment flows, and retention campaigns via Klaviyo or similar

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves

Strong working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok — not just as a user, but as someone who understands the algorithm, what performs, and why

Self-directed. This role has no manager. You bring the ideas, you execute, you report back.

Based in or near New York City. A significant portion of our early growth will be community-driven and in-person.

Good editing skills

Nice-to-Haves

Existing relationships in the NYC fitness, running, or wellness community

Experience working with early-stage consumer brands or startups

Knowledge of the supplement or sports nutrition space

TIME COMMITMENT

Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility depending on availability, launch timeline, and ongoing projects.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
