Guardian Recovery is a behavioral health organization providing addiction treatment and mental health services across multiple facilities in the United States.
Our marketing team plays a critical role in reaching the people who need us ,meeting them where they are, on the platforms they use, with content that's honest, hopeful, and human.
Role Overview
You're the production engine behind Guardian Recovery's brand and thought leadership channels. You'll work directly with our Social Media Manager who owns strategy, copy, and posting to capture, edit, and design the visual content that brings our story to life across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, and 6 lead-focused LinkedIn accounts. You bring the camera, the eye, and the edit. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role. You'll be at our facilities filming alumni stories, capturing the day-to-day of our clinical and support teams, hosting on-camera segments, and turning long-form content into scroll-stopping short-form video. If you live and breathe Reels, know what's trending on TikTok before it peaks, and can move comfortably between holding a camera, editing in CapCut, and designing a Canva carousel — this role is built for you.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
CPR Certification Preferred
Required
2–4 years of hands-on social media content creation experience (in-house, agency, or as a freelance creator with a strong portfolio)
Demonstrated ability to shoot, edit, and publish short-form video that performs on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts , submit a portfolio or links to accounts you've created content for Comfortable and confident on camera as a host, presenter, or featured creator
Strong photography skills - natural light, portraits, environmental/lifestyle, and event coverage Fluent in CapCut, Instagram Edits, Canva, and at least one mobile-first editing workflow Working knowledge of platform-specific best practices for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
Excellent organizational skills, comfortable managing multiple shoots and deadlines simultaneously Willingness to travel up to 50% to Guardian Recovery facilities across the United States Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local facility travel
KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF HIRE
Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Canva is essential.
Passion for Marketing: A strong interest in the internet marketing and a commitment to self-education in industry principles
Email and Newsletter Expertise: Knowledge of email campaign creation and newsletter design.
Social Media Savvy: Experience with Social media management tools and strategies
WordPress Experience: Familiarity with WordPress is a valuable asset.
Desirable Skills: Photography and Video Production: Skills in these areas will be considered a significant plus.
