Social Media and Content Marketing Coordinator

We're looking for a creative and organized marketing professional to support Visit Dana Point's social media, content creation, and digital marketing efforts. You'll help bring the destination to life through engaging storytelling while keeping projects, content, and digital assets organized. This is a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

· Create Instagram Reels, Stories, and short-form video content.

· Write captions, scripts, and social copy aligned with the brand voice.

· Research local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and seasonal experiences.

· Organize digital assets, content calendars, and marketing projects.

· Source user-generated content and identify influencer opportunities.

· Repurpose photos and videos into fresh marketing content.

· Support seasonal campaigns and destination storytelling.

· Track deadlines and manage projects independently.

What We’re Looking For

· Excellent writing and communication skills.

· Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.

· Strong organization and attention to detail.

· Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· Interest in travel, hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle marketing.
