Social Media and Agency Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Social Media and Agency Assistant to join our vibrant marketing team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented part-time assistant to support content scheduling, client communication, and light admin work. A few hours a week to start, with room to grow as the agency does.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and audience sentiment to inform content strategies.
• Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.
• Monitor and triage the agency inbox — flag priority items, draft responses for approval
• Keep task lists and calendars organized; light general admin support

Skills

• Proven experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer (application).
• Knowledge of social listening techniques and tools for real-time audience insights.
• Expertise in digital marketing performance monitoring through Google Analytics and marketing analytics platforms.
• Ability to create engaging content through writing, photography, video editing, and basic web analytics understanding.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail for branding consistency.
