Position Description

The Marketing Intern supports BANANE’s digital presence by creating, curating, and posting content across social media platforms. This role is primarily focused on digital content creation using photo and video assets provided by the CEO and team, including content captured at markets and events. The role also involves adapting content for both online engagement and in-person promotional use. The Marketing Intern will work directly with the CEO to execute content strategy, maintain brand consistency, and track performance metrics to support growth and visibility. This position is ideal for someone creative, organized, and passionate about storytelling through social media, food culture, and community-based brands.

Responsibilities Include

• Create, edit, and post content for Instagram and TikTok
• Capture photo and video content at markets and events when needed
• Curate engaging social media storytelling aligned with BANANE’s brand
• Track and report basic content performance metrics
• Support brand visibility through consistent digital engagement
• Assist in organizing and managing digital content archives

Minimum Requirements

Ages 18–24

• Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Strong photo and video editing skills (smartphone or basic editing apps)
• Creative eye for content creation and storytelling
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to track and report content performance metrics
• Available to occasionally attend markets/events for content capture
• Interest in food, wellness, or small business (plus)

Hours

4–8 hours per week

Compensation

$17.87/hour
