Job Summary

The Austin Community Food Co-op is in search of a Marketing and Communications Coordinator that can also lead and elevate the co-op’s visual identity across all platforms and community touch-points. This position will assist in the promotions of fundraising events, and outreach marketing. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day communications and marking activities of the co-op. The role will also create a meaningful online experience for Austin residents, co-op community, donors, volunteers and partners driving increased revenue yearly. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will collaborate with the Community Relations Coordinator, and the Visual Design Consultant creating the ACFC 2026 Team. This Team will report out at the monthly board meeting. The store does not yet exist but will be located in the Austin community area.

Requirements

• This position requires self-motivation with awesome energy and familiarity with the Austin community.
• Having transportation is essential for community engagement and event support.
• This job will be done in a hybrid environment working from home, co-working office space, and in the field as needed.
