Rainy Day Pets is a rapidly growing premium pet care company serving Westchester County and NYC.

We’re building a trusted neighborhood brand focused on exceptional customer experience, strong community relationships, and thoughtful care for every pet. We are experiencing strong year-over-year growth and are entering an exciting stage of expansion.

This is a paid, part-time, temp-to-hire position designed for someone excited to gain real startup experience. Ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals. You'll work directly alongside the founder and play a key role in business development, marketing, partnerships, and day-to-day growth initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

*Business Development & Partnerships*

  • Research luxury apartment buildings, veterinarians, groomers, pet stores, trainers, and local businesses for partnership opportunities.
  • Visit local businesses (when assigned) to introduce Rainy Day Pets and build relationships.
  • Help identify new referral opportunities throughout Westchester County and NYC
  • Research community events, sponsorship opportunities, and networking events.
  • Assist with partnership follow-ups and relationship management.

*Marketing & Growth*

  • Monitor local Facebook Groups, Reddit, Nextdoor, and community forums for pet care opportunities.
  • Help schedule social media posts using Canva templates and existing content.
  • Collect customer testimonials and organize marketing assets.
  • Help identify local influencers and partnership opportunities
  • Coordinate with our marketing vendors to ensure projects stay organized and on schedule.

*Operations & Administrative Support*

  • Help organize company SOPs and internal documentation.
