About the Opportunity

Our client, an early-stage healthcare SaaS company, is seeking an entrepreneurial graduate student to help build and execute its sales and marketing engine.

This is not a traditional observational internship. The intern will take meaningful ownership of top-of-funnel sales, market research, prospecting, outbound outreach, CRM management, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategy. The primary objective is to identify qualified prospective customers, engage decision-makers, and generate sales opportunities for company leadership.

The position is designed for someone who wants to work at a startup, build a company, or eventually launch a venture of their own. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, solving ambiguous problems, testing new ideas, and taking a project from initial concept through execution.

Because this is an early-stage company, responsibilities may shift as business needs evolve. The intern should be prepared to contribute wherever they can create the greatest impact.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Prospecting and Pipeline Development

  • Own the top-of-funnel sales process, from identifying target accounts through handing qualified opportunities to company leadership.
  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential customer segments, physician practices, healthcare organizations, and relevant decision-makers.
  • Use Apollo.io, LinkedIn, public databases, and other research tools to build targeted prospect lists.
  • Research individual prospects and organizations to support relevant, personalized outreach.
