CaptainU is looking for a Fall Marketing Intern to help grow our social media presence and support our sales and business development team with creative assets. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience across social strategy, content creation, and web content management at a fast-growing college sports recruiting platform. If you're creative, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple projects, we'd like to meet you.

Job Details

• Location: Fully remote
• Hours: Flexible, 15–25 hours per week
• Pay: $15/hour
• Dates: Start September 1; end date flexible in December

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging content across our social media channels
• Design creative assets (graphics, videos, one-pagers) to support the sales and business development team
• Make small content updates to our WordPress website (text edits, image swaps, new pages)
• Track and report on social media metrics to measure campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth
• Stay current on social media trends and suggest new content formats or channels
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure brand consistency across all materials

Requirements

• Strong writing and visual communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and basic content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Comfortable working with WordPress or willing to learn (no coding experience required)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to track and report on data accurately
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects with deadlines
• Interest in sports, marketing, or ed-tech is a plus
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
