Commercial Insurance Marketing Specialist

This is not a traditional marketing role focused on digital marketing, social media, branding, communications, SEO, advertising, or content creation.

In the insurance industry, “marketing” refers to the process of:

• Marketing commercial insurance accounts to carriers
• Preparing underwriting submissions
• Negotiating coverage, pricing, and terms with underwriters
• Evaluating carrier proposals and placement strategy
• Working closely with producers, account managers, and carrier partners

This role requires experience within a commercial insurance agency environment and a strong understanding of commercial property & casualty insurance.

Qualified candidates will typically have experience such as

• Commercial Lines Account Manager
• Commercial Marketing Specialist
• Commercial Placement Specialist
• Underwriting Assistant
• Commercial Underwriter
• Agency Marketing Representative

Applicants without commercial insurance placement or carrier marketing experience will not be considered.
