We work directly with dealership owners, general managers, sales leaders, and automotive decision-makers. Our approach combines dealer expertise, data, creative strategy, and paid media to generate qualified sales conversations.
We are seeking an experienced B2B paid media strategist who can fully own our Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns while helping develop creative messaging specifically for the automotive dealership market.
The Role
This is a contractor engagement focused on results and campaign ownership—not hours worked.
You will be responsible for developing, launching, managing, and continuously improving paid media campaigns designed to generate qualified dealership leads for Apex Intelligence.
The ideal candidate has strong B2B lead-generation experience, advanced knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads, and the creative ability to turn dealership pain points into compelling advertisements, offers, landing-page messaging, and short-form video concepts.
You do not need to enter this role as an automotive expert. However, you must be willing to learn the dealership industry deeply, listen closely to leadership, and tailor messaging to dealership owners, general managers, marketing leaders, and other automotive decision-makers.
This is not a position for someone who simply launches campaigns and waits for instructions. We need a proactive strategist who studies performance, presents ideas, tests new approaches, and takes responsibility for improving lead quality and acquisition results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the overall paid media strategy for Apex Intelligence
- Build, launch, and optimize Google Search campaigns
- Build, launch, and optimize Meta advertising campaigns
- Generate qualified B2B leads from automotive dealerships
- Translate dealership problems, audit findings, and industry insights into compelling campaigns
- Develop tailored messaging for dealership owners, general managers, sales leaders, and marketing decision-makers
- Write and test ad copy, headlines, hooks, offers, and calls to action
- Develop creative concepts for video ads, Reels, static ads, and other campaign assets
- Identify organic videos that can be repurposed into paid advertisements
- Provide clear creative direction for videos and advertising assets
- Test audiences, campaign structures, messaging, offers, landing pages, and creative formats
- Monitor campaign budgets, bids, search terms, cost per lead, conversion rates, and lead quality
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot conversion tracking
- Track leads and campaign attribution through GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms
- Evaluate performance based on qualified leads, booked appointments, sales opportunities, and customer acquisition costs
- Conduct regular campaign reviews with leadership
- Provide concise weekly performance updates and actionable recommendations
- Adjust campaigns quickly based on performance data and market feedback
- Maintain organized documentation of campaign tests, findings, and next steps
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience generating B2B leads through paid media
- Strong hands-on experience with both Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Experience marketing high-value services to owners, executives, operators, or senior decision-makers
- Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution, funnels, and landing pages
- Ability to write effective B2B advertising copy
- Strong creative and messaging instincts
- Experience testing different audiences, offers, hooks, and campaign angles
- Ability to analyze campaign data and explain results clearly
- Comfortable collaborating closely with founders and leadership
- Highly adaptable and receptive to detailed feedback
- Organized, accountable, proactive, positive attitude a must, and responsive
- Willingness to learn the automotive dealership industry and our desired customer deeply
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automotive, dealerships, SaaS, agencies, professional services, or other high-ticket B2B offers
- Experience with GoHighLevel
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Experience developing or directing short-form video advertisements
- Experience turning organic content into paid advertising creative
- Experience building or improving lead-generation landing pages
- Experience targeting niche industries or specialized business audiences
- Experience connecting campaign performance to CRM outcomes and closed sales

Success will not be measured by impressions, clicks, or inexpensive leads alone.
The contractor will be expected to help Apex achieve

Contractor Structure
This position is structured as an independent contractor engagement with a fixed monthly retainer of $5,000.
The contractor will independently manage their working schedule and methods while meeting agreed-upon campaign deadlines, communication expectations, reporting requirements, and performance responsibilities.
This is not an hourly position, and there is no fixed weekly-hours requirement. However, the contractor must maintain reliable communication, attend scheduled strategy meetings, respond promptly when campaign issues arise, and consistently fulfill the responsibilities of the engagement.
A contractor agreement, confidentiality agreement, and defined campaign scope will be required.
Compensation
$5,000 per month
Compensation is provided as a fixed monthly contractor retainer. The engagement may also include performance incentives based on agreed measures such as qualified dealership leads, booked meetings, campaign efficiency, and sales opportunities.
