Job Description

The Senior Manager of SEO will serve as a strategic right hand to the Director of SEO. This role will own department-level initiatives, lead cross-functional projects, and acts as a key decision-maker in evolving our SEO approach across our portfolio of clients. The Senior Manager of SEO has deep SEO knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the strategic acumen to drive meaningful performance gains across the organization. The Senior Manager of SEO will be responsible for assisting in overseeing all account work, personnel, and client communication related to the SEO team.

Essential Functions

• Partner with the Director of SEO on department-level planning, OKRs, and roadmap execution.
• Lead high-impact initiatives such as automation, AI integration, workstream development, efficiency improvements, and new service rollouts.
• Identify and lead process adjustments and needs for the SEO Department.
• Analyze organic traffic and SEO trends and develop forward-thinking SEO strategies across content, technical, and deliverables in SEO.
• Serve as a mentor and escalation point for SEO department Managers, Consultants, and Specialists.
• Address and resolve client challenges, including de-escalating issues
