Job Description
About Meaningful
Meaningful is a brand consultancy, closer to a senior collective than a traditional agency. Everyone on the team is a seasoned creative or maker who loves building brands and getting their hands dirty in the craft. We help brands find a meaningful place in the world, and we start with one question: can you state the goal of your company without using numbers or dollar signs?
We believe in humanizing brands. Social is where a brand either sounds like a person or sounds like noise, and we're looking for someone who knows the difference.
The role
You'll own Meaningful's social presence, and support social work for select clients. That means shaping what we say, how it looks, when it goes out, and what we learn from it. You'll work closely with our founders, our design team and the Director of Social to turn our point of view into posts people actually stop for.
What you'll do
Content strategy and planning
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar across LinkedIn, X, Instagram and other channels as they make sense.
- Turn our thinking (founder perspectives, case studies, books, events) into a steady rhythm of posts, series and campaigns.
- Bring ideas, not just schedules. Know what's worth saying and why.
Writing and production
- Write captions, threads and short-form copy in Meaningful's voice: conversational, insightful, warm but direct.
- Partner with designers on visuals and short video, and give clear briefs and feedback.
- Keep everything on brand, from tone to type to the way we use color.
Publishing and community
- Move posts through review and approval on time, and keep the calendar current in Notion.
- Respond to comments and messages, and build real relationships with the people and brands in our orbit.
- Keep an eye on what peers, clients and the culture are talking about.
Measurement and learning
- Track performance monthly and report what's working, what isn't, and what we should try next.
- Care about the right numbers (saves, shares, meaningful conversations, inbound) over vanity metrics.
Client support
* Support account leads on client social projects: audits, content plans, launch campaigns and handoffs.
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years managing social media, ideally at a brand consultancy, creative agency or in-house brand team.
- A portfolio of accounts or campaigns you've run, with results you can talk about.
- Sharp writing. You can say something real in a sentence.
- A strong visual eye, and comfort working alongside designers (Figma or Canva familiarity is a plus).
- Experience with scheduling and analytics tools (Buffer, Later, Sprout or similar), Notion, Slack and Google Workspace.
- Organized, reliable and calm under deadlines.
- Genuine interest in storytelling and humanized branding. You'd rather change minds than chase likes.
Nice to have
- Experience with B2B or thought-leadership content on LinkedIn.
- Short-form video editing skills.
- Experience with paid social.
Benefits
- Flexible schedule
- Professional development assistance
- Work alongside senior creatives with long resumes and the awards to match
How to apply
Apply through Indeed with your resume and a link to your portfolio or two to three accounts you've managed. Tell us, in a few sentences, about a post you made that you're proud of and why it worked.
