About Us

Unfunk Your Stuff is a mission-driven, eco-friendly junk removal company based in Northwest Philadelphia. We sort, resell, donate, and recycle — doing junk removal the right way. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

The Opportunity

We have two key needs right now: getting in front of more customers through door-to-door sales, and building our social media presence through short-form video. If you're someone who can do both — or wants to try — this is a unique opportunity to play a major role in a small, mission-driven business.

Side A — Door-to-Door Sales

• Knock doors in Northwest Philadelphia neighborhoods
• Qualify and book junk removal jobs
• Earn base pay plus commission on profitable jobs you close

Side B — Social Media & Content

• Shoot, edit, and post short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Tell the story of what we do and why it matters
• Build and engage our audience across platforms

You can lean into one side more than the other — we're flexible. But if you're someone who can genuinely do both, we'd love to talk.

Compensation

• Base pay: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
• Commission: 10% on profitable jobs you close through canvassing or cold-calling
• Hours are flexible: 10–40/week depending on what you take on

Who We're Looking For

• Sales: comfortable going door-to-door, building rapport quickly, and closing
• Content: experience shooting and editing short-form video with a track record of posting consistently
• Self-motivated and trustworthy — this role has a lot of independence
• Genuine interest in what we're building
