Job Summary

The Social Media & Community Outreach Intern will help grow awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters and inspire more people to become volunteer mentors. Through authentic storytelling, community engagement, and grassroots outreach, the intern will help connect prospective volunteers with our mission—both online and in the community.

This internship provides hands-on experience in social media marketing, digital storytelling, community outreach, and nonprofit brand strategy while working directly with Marketing leadership and collaborating across Recruitment, Enrollment, and Community Engagement teams. High-performing interns may be considered for future employment opportunities based on organizational needs.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

• Capture photo and video content at BBBS programs, recruitment events, community activations, and partner engagements.
• Create engaging short-form video, photography, graphics, and written content for social media and other digital channels.
