Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Team!
Are you an outgoing, resourceful, and creative go-getter looking to make a real impact? Ready to help build something from the ground up in a practice where your ideas are genuinely wanted?
*Be the Growth Engine of Our Practice. We'll Support the Rest.*
This isn't a role where you're handed a checklist and told to check boxes. You'll be the first person to ever hold this position, which means you get to shape it. We know growth work can feel invisible when it's done well, so we make sure you're recognized for the wins you create, not just the tasks you complete.
Here's what you'll enjoy with us
● Competitive hourly pay
● A flexible schedule that works around your classes or other commitments
● A warm, low-ego environment where your ideas are heard and acted on
● Fully Remote
You'll be joining a practice that values initiative, compassion, and growth, for our patients, our future mentees, and for you.
Our Vision
To create a trusted, affirming mental health practice where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to live balanced, meaningful lives.
Our Core Values
1. Compassion First
We lead with empathy and respect, recognizing that healing begins when clients feel safe, heard, and understood.
2. Clinical Excellence
We are committed to ongoing learning, evidence-based practice, and thoughtful prescribing that prioritizes safety, effectiveness, and long-term wellness.
3. Cultural Responsiveness
We honor identity, culture, and lived experience, with a dedicated focus on equitable mental health care and reducing disparities.
4.
Collaboration & Education
We believe informed clients make empowered decisions. Care is collaborative, transparent, and grounded in education, not authority.
5.
Integrity & Accountability
We practice with honesty, professionalism, and ethical responsibility in all clinical and business decisions.
6.
Accessibility& Presence
We value availability, clear communication, and continuity of care, showing up consistently for our clients and community.
7.
Sustainability & Growth
We support growth that is intentional and sustainable for our clients, our clinicians, and the practice as a whole.
What You'll Do
● Waitlist & Growth: Build and manage a patient waitlist system from first inquiry through booked appointment, so no interested patient falls through the cracks.
● Funding & Grants: Research grant and funding opportunities relevant to mental health practices and help draft and submit applications to support the practice's growth.
● Social media & Content: Plan, create, and post content across Instagram and LinkedIn; respond to comments and DMs in a warm, professional voice; turn practice updates into content people actually want to engage with.
● Mentorship Program Support: Help organize and upload on-demand learning modules, coordinate scheduling for live Zoom sessions, and support onboarding for new mentees joining our program for early-career psychiatric NPs.
● Outreach: Support relationship-building with referral sources (PCPs, therapists, school counselors) and help maintain our presence on practice directories.
What We’re Looking For
● Someone currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in psychology, public health, communications, business, or a related field.
● You will excel if you possess strong writing and communication skills and genuinely enjoy telling a story that gets people to act.
● You must be organized and able to think several steps ahead, you see the big picture and bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your work.
● You have a passion for mental health care and helping others access it.
● You are comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Canva, and AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.), and are quick to pick up new platforms.
● Candidate Must be dynamic, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with periodic check-ins rather than daily direction.
● Confidence to bring your own ideas to the table, not just execute someone else's.
● Ability to juggle a few ongoing projects at once and follow through without being chased.
Details
● Part-time, 16 hrs/week, hours set around your class schedule or other commitments
● Primarily remote, with periodic check-ins [in-person/Zoom]
● $20/hour, with merit-based performance bonuses
● A strong letter of recommendation after 6 months of solid work
