Today, Kim is trusted by 200+ Shopify brands across the US and Canada, and we're looking for someone to help us become a recognized name within the Shopify ecosystem.

About the Role

We're looking for a Partnerships & Community Lead to own one of our most important growth channels: the Shopify ecosystem.

This role goes beyond traditional partnerships. You'll build relationships with agencies, app partners, consultants, creators, and ecosystem leaders while growing Kim's presence inside Shopify communities—both online and offline.

Your goal is simple: make Kim a trusted and recognizable brand within the Shopify ecosystem while generating qualified pipeline through strategic partnerships and community engagement.

What You'll DoPartnerships

  • Build strategic partnerships with Shopify apps, agencies, consultants, technology partners, and ecommerce service providers.
  • Source, negotiate, and launch co-marketing initiatives including webinars, newsletters, events, content collaborations, and referral programs.
  • Own the end-to-end partner lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding to enablement and long-term relationship management.
  • Identify and develop new ecosystem growth opportunities.

Community

  • Grow Kim's presence across Shopify communities, Slack groups, Discord servers, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook Groups, and industry events.
  • Build and nurture relationships with founders, operators, ecommerce leaders, and community managers.
  • Develop community-led programs that educate, engage, and generate qualified leads.
  • Represent Kim at webinars, podcasts, meetups, conferences, and Shopify ecosystem events.

Growth

  • Generate qualified pipeline through partnerships and community initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to execute partner campaigns and joint GTM initiatives.
  • Track and report on partnership performance, sourced pipeline, community engagement, and revenue impact.
  • Continuously identify new ways to grow Kim's presence within the Shopify ecosystem.

What We're Looking ForRequired

  • 5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Community, or Ecosystem Growth.
  • Experience working at a Shopify app or B2B SaaS company serving ecommerce brands.
  • Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and its key players.
  • An existing network of relationships with Shopify agencies, app partners, consultants, creators, or community leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or managing online communities.
  • Experience speaking at webinars, podcasts, or ecommerce events.
  • Familiarity with affiliate or referral programs.
  • Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, PartnerStack, Crossbeam, Reveal, or similar partnership tools.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
