Marketing Operations Associate

Medical Mutual is seeking an organized, self-motivated, and relationship-focused individual looking for professional growth to join our Marketing Department. We are one of the oldest doctor-owned medical professional liability insurance companies in the United States and the leading MPL insurer of private practice doctors in Maryland.

As a Marketing Operations Associate, you will play an important role in strengthening relationships with our insureds, prospective insureds, producers, and business partners. Combining field-based relationship development with office-based customer and departmental support, you will manage an assigned territory, provide responsive service, prepare premium quotations, explain coverage information, support producer relationships, and assist with the day-to-day operations of our Med-Lantic book of business. You will also conduct market research and monitor competitor activity to provide insights that support marketing, underwriting, and strategic decision-making.

NOTE

Prior insurance experience is preferred but not required. You must have an active Maryland Property and Casualty Producer License or be willing and able to obtain one within 90 days of hire. This opportunity will suit a confident, service-minded professional who enjoys building relationships, managing varied responsibilities, and contributing both in the office and in the field.

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Active Maryland Property and Casualty Producer License required, or the ability and commitment to obtain the license within 90 days of date of hire.
• Ability to learn and apply insurance systems, including the Applied Epic Agency Management System.

Commitment

This is a full-time position located at our office in Hunt Valley, Maryland. We offer a hybrid schedule, with remote work available every Tuesday and Friday.
