Job Description
Chef Jason Dady Restaurant Group is a San Antonio hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of restaurant concepts known for bold flavors, exceptional service, and memorable guest experiences. We’re seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing across our restaurants, connecting digital campaigns with what guests see and experience in person.
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives that drive restaurant visits, reservations, private events, catering inquiries, and repeat business.
We’re looking for a high achiever—a proactive, resourceful go-getter who takes ownership and gets things done. This person is a hands-on doer who turns ideas into action, improves efficiencies, and builds teamwork to achieve marketing initiatives and measurable business results.
This role requires someone who can move comfortably between managing an email campaign, updating a website, coordinating printed menus and signage, developing local partnerships, and visiting restaurants to ensure promotions are properly implemented.
Working closely with ownership, restaurant leadership, and sales and operations teams, this person will manage marketing projects from concept through completion. Success requires strong organization, attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and the ability to keep teams aligned and initiatives moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Planning & Project Management
- Develop and maintain a coordinated marketing calendar for all restaurant concepts, including seasonal campaigns, menu launches, holidays, special events, and ongoing promotions.
- Translate business priorities into clear marketing plans with defined deliverables, deadlines, budgets, and goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating approvals and ensuring materials are accurate and ready before launch.
- Partner with restaurant managers to identify opportunities to increase guest traffic, average spend, repeat visits, and event bookings.
- Improve efficiencies through organized workflows, reusable resources, and clear communication across teams.
- Maintain each concept’s distinct brand identity while ensuring consistent quality across all marketing materials.
In-Restaurant & Print Marketing
- Manage the development, production, delivery, and placement of printed menus, table tents, posters, flyers, banners, promotional signage, and other guest-facing materials.
- Develop clear creative briefs, coordinate artwork, proof materials, and manage revisions and approvals.
- Coordinate with printers and vendors on quotes, specifications, production schedules, and installation when needed.
- Visit restaurants regularly to verify that menus, signage, promotional materials, and branding are current, accurate, and properly displayed.
- Ensure restaurant teams receive promotional details, pricing, dates, and supporting materials before campaigns begin.
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility, communicate offerings, and support sales throughout the guest experience.
Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Maintain restaurant websites with current menus, hours, locations, events, reservation links, online ordering, and private dining information.
- Plan, build, proof, schedule, and evaluate email marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate social media calendars, promotional content, and photography or video needs with internal team members and outside partners.
- Manage or coordinate paid digital campaigns within approved budgets.
- Maintain accurate business listings and guest-facing information across Google Business Profiles, reservation platforms, and other relevant channels.
- Coordinate marketing updates across Toast and OpenTable, including online menus, ordering links, reservation experiences, and promotions.
- Regularly test links, forms, booking paths, and promotional offers to ensure they function correctly.
Events, Partnerships & Community Outreach
- Develop local marketing opportunities with nearby businesses, hotels, attractions, community organizations, and other relevant partners.
- Support restaurant events, holiday programming, pop-ups, and promotional activations through coordinated digital and physical marketing.
- Partner with the sales and catering team to promote private dining, group events, and catering services.
- Coordinate with public relations partners on announcements, media opportunities, and promotional assets.
- Build teamwork across locations to ensure marketing initiatives are understood, supported, and consistently executed.
Performance & Accountability
- Track campaign results using relevant measures such as reservations, offer redemptions, event bookings, website conversions, email engagement, and sales.
- Provide concise updates on completed work, upcoming campaigns, spending, results, and open issues.
- Recommend adjustments based on performance and feedback from restaurant teams.
- Proactively identify obstacles, propose solutions, and follow through to resolution.
- Maintain organized files of approved artwork, photography, menus, campaign materials, and vendor information.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another business serving customers in person.
- Demonstrated experience executing both digital and print marketing campaigns.
- A track record of taking initiative, meeting deadlines, and delivering measurable results.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with close attention to names, dates, pricing, hours, and links.
- Experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, or BentoBox, and email platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
- Working knowledge of social media management, paid advertising, local search, and marketing analytics.
- Experience coordinating creative projects, print production, vendors, and deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently, strengthen teamwork, and take projects through completion.
- A resourceful, solution-oriented mindset and a commitment to improving efficiencies.
- Availability to work on-site, travel between restaurant locations, and support occasional evening or weekend events.
