Creative & Social Media Assistant (Part-Time)

SM is a growing social media management and content creation company looking for a creative, organized, and motivated assistant to work closely with the founder.

I’m looking for someone who can become my right-hand person, assisting with content creation, social media management, client communication, and daily business operations.

This is a hands on, collaborative role with the opportunity to grow as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filming content for brands and businesses at client shoots
• Help plan and execute creative content ideas
• Manage social media content calendars across multiple client accounts
• Schedule and publish content using platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Metricool, or similar software
• Write captions, organize content, and coordinate posting schedules
• Assist with client communication, scheduling, and follow ups
• Help manage day to day administrative tasks and project deadlines
• Participate in regular calls, creative brainstorming sessions, and in person workdays
• Support the development of new creative projects, including wedding content creation

Qualifications

• Experience with cameras, photography, videography, and social media content creation
• Hands on experience using social media scheduling and management platforms
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and current content trends
• Comfortable with filming, lighting, composition, and creative direction
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, and content organization tools
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently
• Reliable transportation to scheduled in person workdays and client shoots
• Flexible availability for collaborative work, scheduled calls, and occasional weekend events

Position Details

• Pay: $20 /hour
• Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week initially, with potential for additional hours
• Location: Primarily in person, with occasional remote tasks
• Schedule: Flexible, coordinated around client shoots and business needs
• Growth: Opportunity to take on more responsibility as SM expands
